Riot finally came back to their senses:
Recipe: Hextech Revolver + Fiendish Codex + 480 Gold = 2500 Total Gold
Ability Power: 50 --> 80
Mana Regeneration per 5: 10 --> 0
Cooldown Reduction: Unchanged
Passive: Unchanged
(Getting in the 4.5, probably). So now we have Ap, Cdr and no mana regen, simply outrageous.
i know vladi might still be in a tricky spot but... would you consider giving this guide another chance? New Wota into rilays sounds quite nice. (also what do you think about this possible new wota on swain, considering it does not give mana reg anymore)
-snip-
Which is why I would REALLY like it if you could explain cs farming lol... like... your strategy. That is the heart of your guide. You address this in the videos well, but not in the written stuff. I have spent all night trying to come close to your numbers and I just can't. I spent an entire game jungling/minion ganking and I was only at like... 240 after like 45 minutes, and I hadn't helped my team at all with the other champs o.O... Part of that is the fact that my summoner is lvl 9, and i have no rune coin thingamajigs, and timing damned last hits from lvl 1-6 is a BIATCH... But I also know for a fact that when I try to get all that cs, I end up spending most of my time just like... jungling... because last hitting minions while keeping pressure on the enemy is so tough at the beginning. I guess my questions are... How do you get a high cs as early as possible (which I assume is the goal). In the early game, a) you're not really strong enough to jungle anything but the really easy guys, which isn't necessarily efficient, and b) you got a lane to protect, so is there any strategy to it that doesn't rely on getting like 90% of the last hits? Or is the issue with my playing really more the fact that I just don't have good lane control... because I always seem to have a lane that bounces up against the enemy tower... I just kill their minions too fast. But if you don't kill their minions, they will kill yours and lvl faster... so what do you do? Aiyaaaa

Bleeeeeh, that's a long question for my small brain. The creator of the thread doesn't seem like he will respond, so I hope he doesn't mind me responding.
But what I think your asking is pretty much why can't you get high cs, and when should you start taking the jungle creeps, so I'll answer that.
For the learning to cs, it takes time. There's no video, no guide, no person that can teach you how to cs well. The only thing that can, really, is experience. Play more games, and your cs will get higher if you try to make it better.
For your second question, you should start stealing the jungle when you get your Spirit of the Spectral Wraith, typically your first or second pick up. What you do, is you push your wave to the enemy turret, to buy you some time for you to go to the jungle and start stealing dem jungle minions. If you learn to do this correctly, it really does pay off.
Anyways, I hope I answered your question correctly, if not, I apologize in advance. Good luck in your games!
Aaaaaand now I'm talking to totallynotnoob.
I dunno if you're gay, but I am, and your guide made me decide that yes, I am going to continue playing this game because that **** was hilarious. I'm so happy I play vladiqueer now hahaha
Anyway, I have a few questions... sadly, I'm not very good at asking questions in writing. Hopefully you can bear with me.
long version of question one:

Sigh. I suspect much of this isn't coherent, so I will stop and give you a few, more simple suggestions. The best sections of this guide were the ones where you went through specific elements and gave detailed descriptions. Your item section is really good, and so are the matchup strategies. Especially the matchup strategies. If you could expand on these sections, that would be great (only 3 opponents in the matchup section is kinda small - there's a whole league out there!! And they're all AD if I remember correctly. what do I do if there's a real powerful burst ap character? Pre 6? Post 6? What if i'm up against someone who can regen just as well as me from the start, like soraka? etc)
The other thing that would be absolutely phenomenal... would be a list of goals. So far, none of the guides I've read have had that, and it pisses me off. I want to know if I am behind, but nobody says where you should be at 5 minutes, and 10, and 20, etc. Either give it on a time-basis (ie: at minute 5 you should have 30cs, at minute 10, 9045hundred cs...) Or give it on a level basis (lvl 2: 10cs, lvl3: 25 cs, and you should have a defensive item if you have a rough lane!, lvl 4: 45cs: you should be saving up for either the defensive item you need or the hextech revolver!)
Finally, thanks for the guide. I think it could use work, but it is still really useful imho, and I learned a lot.
You play 3 vs 3 with Vlad? any advise in there?
I think I was just too aggressive and paid of it.
So.. what match-up when you need to avoid picking vlad at top?
Normal play really.
Q him often level 1.
And ride it out til level 9.
Seeker's arm guard (Starting doran's shield isn't bad either) -> boots works quite well.
Also,
Sometimes, if you're among minions, and you pool at the correct time he will waste his stun on a creep instead, giving you free reign to retaliate.
Whatever happens, don't let the wave go towards his side.
PRoblem in this match up is that by the time you feel comfortable with your defenses, the worst part of the lane is mostly over.
NEver make a mis-step or you'll be permenantly behind.
Otherwise, this is more a lane of eventuality. Just put up with it.
You out-scale him.
Thanks for the quick reply :)
Recently, I have been having problems with renekton.
I tried to put pressure early on since slice and dice only let him cover the distance as I shower him with AAs but as level past by it seems that it gets harder and harder to play attrition. He can easily lay down his entire combo reducing my life to 50%, I tried to retaliate doing 20-30% damage. (which he can regenerate using cull the meek)
He can do a lot of pain every 14 seconds and I don't have time to fully regenerate my HP hence losing CS either at tower or zoning. Overall, I am just afraid of all-in since he took flash and ignite.
Do you have any advice?
