Action/Shounen? -> Hunter x Hunter.

Kinda dislike the 2011 Anime Remake because it's more censored even if it goes further than the normal Anime.
However, the manga is awesome.

Well, as long as you don't mean it as an insult, I'm fine. But honestly, what's wrong with liking something stereotypical? I don't really understand why people lookdown on others when they like things millions of others like too.
I've also watched Fate Stay Night and Suki-tte Ii Na Yo and Hayate the Combat Butler and read countless other one shots. Is that less stereotypical?
Unless you're calling me phony.

We're calling you a noob at anime :P
You're of course allowed to like whatever you want, but don't go recommending stuff until you've seen a fair share of anime yourself(which I'm fairly certain you haven't).

If you're interested in finding new anime to watch we had another newcomer just 2 or 3 pages back. We all recommended a bunch of stuff to him, go check that out if you're interested.

Basically this. Which is fine; we all had to start somewhere.

To follow up on Cuddowls's suggestions, you'll probably want to watch the original Fullmetal Alchemist anime before watching FMA: Brotherhood. The original anime diverged from the manga plotline, as the manga wasn't complete at the time, so Brotherhood much more closely follows the manga's plot. However, it kinda' assumes that you've already seen the original anime and skips over a lot of the overlap (covering 24-odd episodes of stuff in more like 6 episodes), so it helps to have seen the original already. The overlap itself can be kinda' annoying, so if it starts bothering you just watch some other series in between to give yourself a break.

I don't know why Cuddowls keeps hammering on Code Ge***. While it's pretty good, it's not actually anything spectacular. I feel like you get about the same quality out of Zetsuen no Tempest, but the latter has a much smaller time commitment. Code Ge***'s ending is particularly great--one of the best anime endings I've ever seen--but that doesn't mean that sitting through two whole seasons is necessarily worth it.

Mahou Shojou Madoka Magica is, straight up, the best anime I have ever seen. Based on your list, though, I'm not perfectly sure that it's quite your cup of tea. I heartily suggest you give it a try anyway, because it's freakin' spectacular. It can be found on Hulu, if you're in a supported region and don't wanna' bother torrenting.

Since you enjoyed Kaichou Wa Maid Sama and Sukitte Ii Na Yo, you'll probably like Toradora!, which is also a romantic comedy (hereafter referred to as a romcom). Although Toradora! gets a bit heavy towards the end, it's wonderfully lighthearted for the first 18 episodes or so. It can also be found on Hulu.

You might also enjoy Hataraku Maou-Sama!, which can also be found on Hulu (as "The Devil is a Part-timer!"). It's a comedy in the same vein as Hayate no Gotoku, with mostly situational and somewhat absurd humor. It also has some fairly good fight scenes.

On another note, to everyone calling Hataraku Maou-sama! a romcom: this anime is not a freakin' romcom. Romcoms are a subgenre of romance, not a subgenre of comedy. Hataraku Maou-sama! is an action comedy with romance elements, not a romcom. This means, Searz, that you might enjoy it.

Anyway, I'm kinda' out of anime to watch for the moment, so I'd love some suggestions myself. I'm kinda' up for anything that isn't terribly dark, terribly 80's, or terribly made-for-12-year-old-boys at the moment.

Baka you can check out Natsume Yuujinchou

It has 4 13 episode seasons which are all spectacular.

Aria The Origination is amazing and definitely worth checking out.
But it is the ending and you will have to watch through the first 2 season which are very good as well, though not as good as the ending season. They are Aria The Animation and Aria The Natural.

My last suggestions would be Mushishi, Chihayafuru and Monster which are great anime in their own right.

That would be me u_u

Well I should admit that it doesn't really have a romance plot, just romance elements like you said. I don't know if Searz will like it though. Because, aside from the comedy, it was pretty "shonen-ish" for me. It's a decent anime still.

Ever watched the Monogatari Series (Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari, Monogatarie Series: Second Season)?
It's a mix of comedy and romance which concentrates on epic interactions between the characters.

Yea, no, I don't think it's for me. He must've got us confused.
It's not that I have anything against shounens, Shingeki No Kyojin is even classified as one(pretty much the epitome of shounen imo :) ), but most just aren't done well.

I'm fairly certain he's seen it (like most people in this thread).

@Baka
You've probably seen it, but Nichijou is a really solid bet for a lighthearted series. I heartily recommend it, i think it's the best anime I've ever seen.

Then I would recommend Arakawa under the Bridge. It's kinda similar, but with a bit more Random-WTF-Nichijou-Comedy.

I've seen Natsume Yuujinchou. Hell, I might've even recommended it to you. And while I enjoyed the series, I'd hardly call it spectacular. Mushishi would be a better bet for that particular label.

As for your other suggestions, I've already seen Mushishi, I'm pretty sure I dropped Chihayafuru because it just wasn't holding my attention, and I'm not really up for a dark shonen at the moment. (I've already got Shigeki no Kyojin and Hunter x Hunter.)

I guess I can get around to watching Aria. At least the first season's on Hulu, which makes it easy for me.

I was planning on watching this already. And yeah, I've seen the rest of them. I'm just hoping that this one doesn't continue the slide into unnecessary fan service.

I just haven't been able to bring myself to start Arakawa. Nichijou-style comedy isn't usually my thing, in spite of how much I enjoyed Nichijou itself. The big problem with random comedy is that most randomness isn't actually funny. I'll give it a shot.

I also forgot that summer anime has already started. I think I'll give pretty much everything except Sengoku/historical shonen and that second season of Hakkenden (the first was terrible) at least an episode of my time.

EDIT: Oh, right. I'm also skipping stuff labeled as ecchi. Fan service I can deal with, if there's a plot I'm invested in. But if the point is fan service, there tends not to be a plot.

No, I'm serious here, Searz. I enjoyed this series significantly more than I thought I would, and the primary reason was that it was funny. It's not the same kind of sketch comedy that Nichijou is--its brand of humor is more situational absurdity--but I think that it's good enough that it's worth your time to at least try the first episode and see how you like it.

Still has fanservice, at least the first episode which is out. Normally I dislike fanservice because most of it isn't actually well made, but with Monogatari it's different. Good fanservice without disturbing the actuall core of the anime, the awesome interactions (who are still there in second season, but now not only between Araragi + Girl).
