An advice - going in that way will really limit you as a player. The first ~40 champions I bought were all ranged, and it took me a LONG time before I finally got to expand my champ pool with melee champs, who I consider a lot of fun as well :)

Ashe would make a good starter as Marksman, as well as Caitlyn and Draven.
For mages I think Ryze would be okay. Later on Annie and Lux.
As support I'd recommend Soraka, followed by Sona and Janna.

Vladimir isn't too long range mage but Orianna and Malzahar have pretty much damage with they long range. Malzahar is the burst guy who kills one enemy and then just throws some void things in to teamfights. Orianna is fairly powerful but you need to learn how to use the ball if you want to do something in teamfights etc.
