Hm I did something similar with my Lux sig somewhere in this thread by resizing the render to make it cover the whole Image and then smudging it. But somehow in the end it doesn't look that good when I do it so I am looking for further ideas. :)

I just duplicate the text layer 2 times so you have 3 layers. Then I use gaussian blur on the topmost layer with a value around 5 and set the layer to screen for a glow effect. Then I go to the lowermost layer and make it black. Then use gaussian blur with a value of 15 or something like that and duplicate the layer. This adds the black shine around it and makes it readable.

I'm not that good myself but I see some people duplicating the render a few times and then liquifying them into a mix of the colours.
