AP Skarner is completely useless and should only be used for trolling. It also completely nerfs your level 1-2 because of the necessary rune setup.

Triforce/Gauntlet is already a billion damage, but the main difference is that Zac is quite hard to kite and he has high base damages + % HP damage + all his damage is magical, while Skarner is like half physical half magic.
Edit: Fun fact, Liandrys' DoT procs Fracture heal.

Shyvana that's like Sunfire Aegis, Liandry's Torment, Wit's End, and other items that synergize with a kinda magical damage AS tank champ.

I think when Voyboy ran it, he did something like 21/9 or 17/13 masteries (can't remember which). I just remember he took both arpen and mpen in the offense tree. Might be worth looking into since Skarner dishes out some pretty good hybrid damage.
