Look at the original topic by Xelnath.

Morello and Xelnath seem tohave been playing around with the income of Junglers and Supports. there are many suggestions in the official forums. What do you think is better? Do you support changes specific to these roles and their income? How do you think it should be done?

I posted my mild suggestion in page 34. Some others are rather interesting as well.

Lowering jungle income will force more utility oriented junglers like Nasus and Sejuani. In order to get a leg up, the more combative junglers like Vi and Udyr will have to be more active with their teams. It forces the combative junglers to either gank more or farm longer in order to be as effective as they are now, forcing I higher degree of map awareness. This also makes counter jungling even more of a threat than it is now and forces junglers to take better care of their territories. I think that this would be the better option if either one is implemented because of how it raises the bar for almost all the players on the team (ADCs can simply stay in farm mode while the support keeps an eye out)

Raising jungle income will allow more combative and obscure (Fizz come to mind here) junglers to actually build carry items like Black Cleaver and trinity force. This opens up more room for shenanigans, down plays the importance of map awareness because what's the point of ganks when myomey comes just as easyly from farm? And lessens the impact of counter jungling unless it is done at an extreme level. Seriously if I counter jungle wraiths, even now it is back in 50 seconds. Not a big impact even if I leave one of the small ones. Increasing the gold value, or lessening the timer, won't hurt the jungler that much unless you are extremely persistent in it.

Riot staff already posted that there will be S4 changes for especially the Support role which are "significantly" changing the gameplay of the role - Including the gold income and warding especially. Gold income is made more battle towards.


Couldn't look at the link you posted atm, so I don't know if I'm shooting out something that is already mentioned or really obvious.
