the open hole doesn't spoil it for me though as i think it is a great story and romance.
Yeah, but I really think she could have opened her hole wider than she did.

No, you misunderstand the concept. It's not a circle. It's a line that he jumps backwards and forwards on.
If it was a circle then it would have to happen again and again, but that's blatantly not what happens.

I'm pretty sure it was something along the lines of "I don't wanna part with you yadda, yadda, yadda. Let's try something else, yadda, yadda.".
I had no problem with that at all. It didn't break any logic and seemed in line with the characters.

Even the premise of his "Stein's;Gate" ability is probably impossible. But that seemed like a necessary plot device, so I suspended my disbelief of that for the most part. It's when they started using this impossibility like 5 times in a row to drive the plot that it felt really dumb and cheap..

satella i looked it up as a video game also and saw that it has a number of endings...one of which i thought the anime should have done and should have been the true ending so that is kinda neat that i was on the same page as the writers...so many possible endings. you should look at the alt. endings of the video game searz. i would play the game but is it translated in english?
I'm pretty sure they just adapted the story-line they liked the most. I'm pretty sure the VN is gonna have plenty of plot holes too..

EDIT: searz if you haven't seen a movie called 'the prestige' and you can get ahold of it i think you would like it.
Checking it out.

meh i think you are missing my point...it would be easier to draw it. doesn't matter. regardless that is the biggest plot issue.
i must have forgotten about okabe defending against bullying. so yeah you got me there.

i could see this. it definitely takes a particular type of individual to enjoy a series like that.
Do you mean the time travel part, I like the concept and the movies I've watched about time travel were good (Donnie Darko stands as my favourite movie) so I don;t think the time travel part is what kinda pushed me away I just disliked the look of the series.
If I have helped in anyway at all a +rep will be appreciated lots

Thanks to LaCorpse, Hogopogo and JhoiJhoi for the amazing sigs

@baka

I'll have to rewatch the series. I don't really remember that.
Also, close your tags. Seriously.

Anyone looked @Zetsuen no Tempest ?
The first half, roughly, was better than the second. Zetsuen no Tempest was better than a lot of recent anime, but... It's still not particularly good. It's worth a watch, if you're interested, but I feel like it didn't have a full 20-something episodes worth of content, so there are a few times where I felt like nothing was happening.
The banana's right about it being kinda' overdramatic, too. That didn't really bother me, but I've got a remarkable ability to get into things if I'm left to my own devices.

I didn't really remember because the series didn't (and still doesn't) interest me so I kinda just let myself forget it.
