Could someone tell me if Ergo Proxy is worth the watch or not? I watched a few episodes but I'm not sure what to think of it. For some reason I have the feeling there are some deep thoughts behind it but on the other hand there are sculptures of Greek/Roman gods(I think) talking to eachother and a mere human being able to be unnoticed while there are strong indications of a power being able to control all robot-thingies(like her "assistant"). Is there some more "realistic" stuff to come?
Well, the series isn't exactly modeled after reality if that's what you're asking..
But I do definitely consider it worth a watch.
Aside from a single filler-ish episode towards the end it's really good.

Ergo Proxy is great,
problem is that it is kinda complicated, so the audience, depending on how much you know will see it as:
Either: Nice action, medicore story, gj
or (if you really understood everything, maybe by using an explaination etc)
OH WTF HOLY SHEET OMFG DID I WATCH LEL

FLCL is one hella piece of art.
EDIT: Just read this. FLCL is literally jaw-dropping for me now.
Don't read the article if you haven't watched FLCL.
Also, insane art, amazing comedy, amazing action, and although the dementia was not as astonishing as in NGE, it was pretty damn good.
I always thought Monogatari Series had the best characters in terms of personality and such, turns out FLCL brings some stiff competition to the table. (Shinobu and Hanekawa are still my favourites :p)
8.5/10 as a personal rating. I'd recommend this to anyone who has enjoyed Serial Experiments Lain, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ergo Proxy and has a thing for extravagant comedy, hints of romance and not so casual art/animation.
I'm gonna be watching Hyouka next.

I just read through the two chapters of Mozuya-san Gyakujousuru that are out so far. It's pretty decent, maybe even borderline good.
I really like the art. It's very clean and has distinct personality.
It's a comedy/romance/slice of life/rather undefined series about a tsundere, which in this manga is a mental illness that this girl has to struggle with. (I'm pretty sure tsundere isn't a real mental illness)
ALSO, has anybody here watched Archer? I know it's not remotely asian, but the series seems hilarious from what I've seen and heard.

Don't go into 0.5s. That's being overly precise. At least part of the reason why the 5 and 10 point systems are so widely used is because they are vague enough to roughly quantize an opinion on value. Going into exact numbers with an inexact source does not make it better.

Mirai Nikki
and
Durarara!!
thoughts?
Probably Durarara!!.
Mirai Nikki is kind of overrated imo. (which Durarara likely is too, but whatever)
Nikki is decent, but it ain't exactly an 8 out of 10.
