Just about every top guide author (with a few exceptions) started off with a lot of mistakes. Your guide doesn't get better if you just post what you think is best and then refuse to take any amount of criticism.

The main problem with your build is something called opportunity cost, which means spending gold on one stat denies you the chance to spend that gold on another stat. In this case, buying crit chance and attack speed (fairly mediocre stats on talon, especially AS) with a Phantom Dancer denies you the chance of getting Last Whisper, which is a much stronger AD caster item.

I'd be 100% less harsh on my critique if this guide wasn't a massive pile of disgusting rape innuendos.

Noxian Diplomacy scales with AD, not crit. In a typical Talon burst, you will auto 2-3 times, 4 if you're lucky. Having Infinity Edge is enough as a crit item.

Actually, in a typical combo, you don't have to auto at all.

Look, if you want to publish a guide which is supposed to teach people, it should be optimal or close to optimal. I know how talon doesn't work well with attack speed, crit is sub-par to flat attack damage and armor pen as well. That has nothing to do with trying or not: I have enough experience to tell whether something works or not without doing so.

By not trying it, they mean it's not viable enough for competetive play. When you make a guide, you generally cater to those that will use it in ranked. Yeah, sure, it's okay to **** around in normals. Hell, play AP Vayne if you want to. But they are giving you constructive criticism from the eyes of a competetive player. Please do not take their feedback the wrong way, they are only trying to assist you in the making and development of your guide.

But this build makes Noxian Diplomacy really strong and that is the instant burst result D:
I will try to make guides that make more sense in the future :( I just want to say it's kinda disheartening to see something you spend hours of hardwork into making get stomped down by people who wouldn't even try it........... :'(

If you really must get crit (for some strange reason), get Infinity Edge and/or Youmuu's Ghostblade, but THAT'S IT.

Reasoning: Crit chance is more suited for a DPS style, while talon is a caster. Building DPS without instant burst results in you getting blown up because you're too squishy.
