this isnt an official Riot forum so your idea isnt going to get much from here, i however think is a pretty lame idea if you really want to try a champion that isnt on rotation a lot just buy it, sooner or later youll get every single champion

I do understand the thought behind this idea; new players don't really get much of a chance to see a champion before deciding what champs to buy. Arguably there are champs in rotation, but some champs are very rarely in rotation so new players don't get much exposure to certain champs than other. To be fair the champions that appear less are the more skill reliant ones, but then again the only way to become skilled with a champion is to practice with them a lot, and the only way for new players to do this is to blindly buy champs and try go get practice. I say "blindly" buy arguably you can see guides and watch videos, but I found when I started playing the game, watching videos got me hyped for a champ and I bought it and ended up not being be able to play them, therefore wasting IP (maybe just me)
At the end of the day Riot can just give champions out for free, so this is why more expensive champs are rarely in rotation, but at the same time they can't not give new players any access to champions or again they wont get any money. I think the champion rotation system is a system which reduces loss on either side, so it's probably the best system at the moment.

you can hardly wait for a champ to be on rotation, as the longer you wait the lesser becomes the chance, that one specific champ will be on rotation
just buy it seems like the worst tipp ever, as the whole idea behind his question is not to throw away money, or hard earned IP...
I don't think riot would suffer too much from giving out test licenses for low prices.
the money would't even go to waste, iff when buying the champ later it costs the normal price minus the price for the test version.
I think 10 percent of the IP price, or a total of fife RP would be ok (I still got 25 of my starting RP that won't buy me anything as things are now...)

wat
I don't really see a massive problem that this is solving, anyway. Yes, some champs are in the free rotation more than others. This is primarily because Riot wants to make sure that there's a balance between roles, easy and hard champions, etc. in every rotation. If this didn't happen, it simply wouldn't be realistic to play for free for extended periods with a small champion pool, like many new players tend to do.
Anyway, for new players, I don't actually think it would be a good idea to let them try out every single champion one time. That's way, way too much choice to be shoving in someone's face right off the bat. For a new player, only having to learn 10 champions at any given point in time (for the most part) makes learning what is going on in the game much easier, compared to having to learn the entire 110+ roster at once.

My posts may be long. If this bothers you, don't read them.

Don't worry about it. As a new player, you should be saving every single IP you earn until you hit level 20 to buy runes. I highly recommend you go to my profile and read my runes guide.
When I started playing, I would get one champ and then spam them nonstop for like 30-40 games until I mastered/got bored of them, and then I moved on. This saved me a lot of IP. It's better to buy annie and work on your mechanics and save 5900IP than get yasuo and realize you suck *** with him. Just get annie, garen, sivir, and a 450IP jungler and support and work on developing your mechanics. When you get bored with one of those champs, pick up a different 450 IP champ.
The tryout system may suck, but back in the day when there were 55 champions, getting to play 10 free meant something. Maybe they need to up it to 20.

Hey all, this will be my first thread on Moba. Started League right around Christmas, so bear with me and my nooby-ness.
My Idea
I'm sure that there have been guides and ideas on this, and if so please link me, but it would be absolutely wonderful if Riot would let you sample a champion before buying it.
I know that free champs cycle ~weekly. My problem is that Riot has stated there are some champs that will be in rotation much more frequently than others, which doesn't allow you to try out champs. I'm thinking like, a trial for 1 bot game per champion per account.
Once again, let me know if there has already been a thread on this, which I'm sure there has been. Thanks to all!
