'you can always screw up your reputation in the real world'
Lagger had what, 200 rep? And how's he has been perma banned.
If you stuff up you pay the consequences such as a temp ban of a day-2.
You don't get punished by losing all the hard work you've done.

Its a total shame lagger got banned though. Mean or not, he still kept the bad guides down and pointed out mistakes in other guides.
He never down voted my guides so I may be a bit biased but a while ago nobody was willing to say a top guide was "bad" just because the "better" build didn't follow the norm. Lagger, along with sirell, did that. They didn't fear revenge votes and kept **** guides down. I commend them for that.
Now, about the -rep thing... It's just a horrible idea.

Oh noes, the revenge downvotes.
Well, I did get some with my

But yeah, nothing for them to downvote anyway.
Anyway, when it comes to repping, I think it's better just to give positive reinforcement.

I think we actually should have a - Rep. I mean, you can always screw up your reputation in the real world, why not on the forums?
This has actually been discussed a lot and would lend its self more to trolling than actually being useful to the site.
