I went 5/5 in my promotion series and got put into Gold I from Diamond V. Probably deserved it, but I'm going to try and get back to where I was and hopefully higher in this season. So far I actually think putting me lower has done me some good in terms of improving my skills.

Roster for this season: Not sure yet. I know I'll probably stick to my comfort picks ( Tryndamere, Udyr, Darius) but I'm going to figure out what's good right now. Yasuo is borderline permaban right now but I'll play him when possible. Also I'm getting good vibes from Vladimir top right now.

Yes I know I'm actually starting from Platinum V rather than Gold I where I was, but honestly G1 was boring and I got out of it relatively quickly. Plat -> Diamond sounded better than little-bit-of-Gold-1-stomping-into Plat -> Diamond.

Yes, that is actually a fed jungle Garen. I kid you not. The story behind this one: Garen wasn't paying attention in champion select, called jungle and went afk for a while then came back and panic picked... Garen. Fortunately the team was actually pretty calm about it, even though they even got Kassadin first pick too (though I think this was because Talon reassured us he'd counter)

Anyways I picked Vladimir to counter Warwick but then I got scared that they went Shaco jungle so I switched out my Ghost for Flash. Laning phase was boring as hell, just spamming Transfusion and actually burning more of WW's mana than his health because he would spam Hungering Strike to keep up. However, things got interesting/hilarious when Garen came to camp my bush for a lane gank then WW ulted me out of the blue, which meant Shaco was coming in. I used Hemoplague, pooled while Garen did his spin2win on the both of them, came out, spammed my abilities and nearly died, but Shaco was silenced and WW could only autoattack me and ended up dying before I did. I managed to get to the tower alive then Garen hits level 6 with Shaco at about 200 hp. Suddenly both Garen and I were 1/0/1 and because for some illogical reason WW decided to rush a Sunfire Aegis rather than magic resist I just pushed him out of lane. Talon probably would've gone positive this game had Shaco not decided to make his life difficult early on, but at least he didn't lose. Bot lane was only losing early because they had a weaker 2v2 but they held fast. We ****ed around a bit after winning several teamfights resulting in Kassadin getting a triple kill and actually going positive, though that didn't help in the end because Garen and Jinx were fed and Vlad's ult really helps Talon burst the enemy team down.

Self explanatory. And as a little bonus, at the start of the game:

Blitzcrank: invade
*misses hook on enemy*
Me: I just want a leash on my blue
Blitzcrank: no
* Vayne gets first blood on Ezreal*
Me: ffs

;_;

I learned the hard way in the Alistar game that conceding roles to people below you is asking to lose at this time since they may very well be Low Gold or even Silver. FML.

Yah many losses. Didn't feel like putting all of them up because there was really very little to say.

BUT THIS GAME LOL

Read the chat on the side. Jinx dc'd at level 6 for literally 15 minutes and we thought we were screwed, but we were kicking their ***es in lane so we held on a little bit hoping she would come back. Thought she had gone for good but nope, she eventually came back then immediately got a kill with her ult in a teamfight she wasn't even in lmao. We then proceeded to wreck them with our AoE wombo combo and unkillable Cho'Gath frontline. Also their top lane may have been the worst Riven I have ever seen.

I actually feel terrible knowing I almost got us to surrender this game when Jinx didn't come back for 10 minutes, but Cho'Gath said he was premade and assured us that she was coming back. Best part? He was lying about the premade part LOL

GG.
