Been on a really bad loss streak since I finished my placement matches. Earlier I was duo'ing with my friend who plays support in our ranked team, and we ran into our top laner in champ select. He was first pick. He was gold 5 in season 3 and I was plat 3, and whenever we play normals, I can literally see that there's a big difference between my skill level and his, yet he's higher Elo than me because of my ****ing loss streak.
And we lost the triple queue game because he chose mid instead of giving it to me zzzzz.

Players in gold are much, much worse than I had expected.
Gold III and there's still tons of people who don't know how to build, who don't know how to cs, who don't know the optimal jungle route... This has literally been the biggest disappointment to me since I reached level 30 ._.

sounds like my feel when I was getting matched up with upper gold and low plat players last season :P
:/ Silver was so much better.
If I would get matched with gold players I'd not expect much cause I thought they had low mmr. Silver players had nothing expected of them so it was just laid back "If I win I win, if I lose no big deal. It's just silver" Now its like, platinum IV players rushing roa on leblanc? really? the mindset feels exactly like bronze :c

If you think you're going to **** it up in the heat of the moment, why are you becoming a lifeguard?
Are you willing to risk it and hope that you'll pull through?
I don't want to stress you more than you already are, but if you're not going to step up, I can guarantee someone else will take your place. And it's better that somebody with confidence does so.

im not saying im not confident but after they show me how to do all the CPR and AR and the many ways to pull a person out of the water AND THEN show videos of people drowning right after, its kinda unnerving
like ive got it all in my head about how to do it its just i dont want to have to use it ya know?

Hee, in my country, people pay respect to the firefighter with a saying along the line: Train hard, be jobless. You're quite kind, I really hope that you stop viewing yourself in disbelieve, for the sake of the drown-ee.
Back to QQing. I can't believe my eyes when people playing as they do. I mean come on, you have a biggggggg lead over the enemies and you're unwilling to finish them off? You play to win, not some sort of charity services, seriously. We push down 1 of their nexus turret already with zero tower and dragon lost, and my team just have to throw it by breast feeding till we lose. WTF?

It's not actual gold players/you're just getting unlucky, yeah I thought they were bad too when I was there but when I was in plat 3 they knew how to play. They would listen, be serious, carry their weight, etc. Usually my games up there depended on my performance for me because my teammates were almost always on par or better than the enemies, however ever since the reset I have been matched with trolls, idiots and just overall bad people. I mean like I had the same MMR, but I was being matched with different people or those people changed attitude or whatever due to the reset and the rushing for ranks. It should go back to normal in a couple of weeks.
