Heavily disagree with this. Athene's or Morello rush is much more versatile than DFG rush which turns you into a one-trick-pony. Here are some other notes:

Hybrid pen beat magic pen by far. Also I'd suggest Mpen Quints if you're doing an mpen build.
Spell Weaving and Double-Edged Sword are way better than Butcher and Feast . Especially since you use W to farm.
Disagree with defence tree. Runic Affinity and the mana regen/movespeed are too good to pass on.
I don't think Teleport ever beats Ignite. Especially against stuff like TF, you just wanna stomp him.
I don't see Lich Bane anywhere, which is a very common late-game pickup. Usually as guise replacement since Liandry is pretty weak as it is an item for dps and not burst mages.
I just hate to see Mejai anywhere.
No Banshee's? Ever?!
Missing a tips and tricks section. How to do complex jukes and outplays for example.

I like the guide, it's pretty and has nice bbcoding, I only took a quick glance at it and found no mistake what so ever. The items look fine to me and masteries too. +1 for me.

Thank you for your vote. I say that W max is more reliable than Q max because Q requires you to land another spell to get its full damage off, which you cannot always do.

I left the "//" in the explanations as they were part of the original template, but yeah, they do look better without them to me. I've removed them from the guide. =]

Certainly looks like a good guide to me.
Q max is certainly more reliable than W max simply because its not a skillshot, but I've never tried W max Leblanc though..
