Brilliant guide!

Written very well and pleasant to read. I was playing Jayce top only, I almost main Jayce mid after this guide.

Interesting opinion: Youmuu's Ghostblade
This item gives you 20 armor penetration, crit chance and a "you are definetly dead" active. Although I am not a fan of building crit chance on Jayce, the armor penet is the highest you can get from 1 item and hyper charge + ghost blade active means you keep shooting at full speed for about 7-8 seconds, and the movement speed boosts allows you to stick to your enemy during the full amount. You can imagine the different uses of the active also opens doors to many different combos.

Would you be willing to give it a try? :D

hey, I really enjoyed reading evrything of your page. I have a question, I really like jayce, but I also like ahri and zed. I'm searching for a champion to main. The mainreason is to entertain myself, and my vieuwers on twitch ;). I need a champion that when you have the right skills and know how to play with him you will be able to win a lot of games, and being fast fed. (like fizz). Could you maybe help choose. ;)

Do you mind telling me what about it factually you don't agree with? Or is it just aesthetically displeasing to you. What about the skill order don't you like?

If you're objecting to W being maxed over E, it's not even arguable at this point. Regardless of how useless you may think the active on Jayce's Lightning Field is, its damage and the passive mana regeneration are still very much a real thing that scales with leveling it up. Furthermore, the damage output of a full combo with Hyper Charge is much higher than if you max E first. Maxing E first made sense pre-3.9, when the CD of Acceleration Gate actually went down with levels, but it's even been confirmed by riot in a thread about upcoming Jayce changes that the correct skill order is QWER.

If you're objecting to R not being maxed until 16-18, that's also something that has been confirmed by Riot to be probably optimal, but it's at least a little bit more subjective. The reason that it's suboptimal to level R along the way is that it's incredibly niche to be able to get both parts of the R active off in a fight, especially in lane, as it requires that you haven't attacked anything. It's just not feasible to actively ignore lasthitting so that you can get both procs of your ultimate off. Because you're very rarely getting both parts of it off, the damage/utility that it brings is extremely inferior when compared to more points in Q or W.

I don't mind negative feedback, but I expect that if you really have a gripe with something in the guide, you care enough about it and are capable enough to tell me what you think is factually wrong. If you do the numbers and show me that my skill order is suboptimal, I would be happy to change it, but I'm not about to give credence to a completely subjective "liking" of a skill order and completely ignore the objective superiority of another. Please clarify.

Thank youuu ^^. Yeah, two of the most satisfying moments in LoL I've had was knocking a Kha'zix out of his jump and knocking a J4 out of his QE :D No one expects it ^.^'

Hahaha the 4th combo, your combo is the one I always use since my first time Jayce (btw does this work in the comment section? Jayce) its OP :D no escape. One time when i did this against kassadin and knocked him back and he ulted while the animation of my knockback was going, he teleported and got knocked back aaaaaaaall the way back xD that was cool. Nice guide i liked it :)

So it was! Thanks for catching this, there's probably a couple other mistakes scattered about too ^.^. Everything's all fixed now though :D.

Good guide, but this is just to point out an error of yours. Under the spells section, the picture for the acceleration gate is the same as hyper charge, just to point it out
