An Iceborn Gauntlets and a Trinity Force don't really work well together because of the unique active.
I'd rethink it.
The Slow will still proc from the damage from Trinity Force. But yes the gold is wasted.
I did stack MR and armor but found I had enough with items so went for a more balanced rune set. Magic pen is a real winner. I am always up in gold, a lot of games I have more than anyone else, even my adc. I think I might ditch the quint but it's why I'm up and stay that way.
I used to level up my pull 1st, then went for a while leveling up overdrive. I found a balanced blitz wins more and dies less. So I went away from the normal max out something and have been very happy.
The twin shadows every game gets me a few kills and or lets me get away. Also good for my team to get away as I can couple with talismans speed boost to get the whole team away.I also find enemies that are hiding and get them to run. Once they run its on.
I had moby boots for the 1st 25 games. then switched to Mercury treads. I like the ninja because my 3rd trip back I have armor, speed, mr, mana regen and health regen as well as health. Once again a balanced blitz win's more games.
Because I get sightward by lvl 6 or 7 and adc has ward trinket I help jungler get early game gank's by clearing that mid bush. Or if they are aggressive the one that ends up in the bottom bush. I do start with a ward and with the adcs trinket you don't need it. Also I like to gank mid and roam early. Can't if I'm sitting on a ward and don't know it.
I very rarely die. The health from sightward and armor in the ninja boots with the beginning pieces of the twin shadows is where I start to really see they can't hurt me. Plus the adc is getting focused so I just don't die. Don't need more tanky it is already hard to kill me.
I like your advice but I have moved away from all you are saying as that is what everyone else is doing.
I disagree with your starter items but I guess it's debatable now with the DS nerf. Don't think Twin shadows is a necessary purchase every game. Iceborn is oke but you should definitely have a Solari and Randuins somewhere in that build. Mobi boots might be better, too. Should start with Warding Totem and swap it for Sweeping around lvl 9. Odd skilling order. You should max abilities at levels 9, 13, 16 and 18. 10 and 14 are random and unnecessary. Ignite is perfectly legit on support and most likely the current prefered spell.
Would definitely go 9-21-0 in masteries, or 0-21-9 at the very least. You're melee and you pull enemies towards you; you're gonna want to be tanky.
Should work on fixing up your guide as well. Coding, images, videos maybe and maybe use full words rather than em, ya, and other short versions. Capitalize "i"s too.
Didn't vote yet and I won't downvote for sure, just maybe work on some of the suggestions above and I can come back and upvote if the guide improves :>
If you really want to sell your boots for a movespeed item of some sort, get a Zephyr; even then, it's a pretty bad idea on Blitzcrank.
I'd rethink it.
