    Why Bear over Tiger/Phoenix

Why people on Udyr maxes Blazing Stampede over Wingborne Storm / Wilding Claw? Is really ~10% MS worth it?

i don't think i have ever seen someone who knows what they are doing max bear over phoenix or tiger. you can either max tiger/phoenix in the jungle.

tiger is a more aggressive duel type of udyr jungle. phoenix is more centered on farming your jungle and the enemies jungle.

if you play top i would recommend the tiger max first. in all cases i usually max turtle second. after turtle you can look at the 2 remaining stances.

you really only need 1 dps stance to be maxed as the typical rotation of stances will get you back to your main damage stance off cooldown so there is no need for a second. what i mean by that is say you go in for a gank. you may start bear for the gap closing. get the stun off. switch to tiger/phoenix for damage. switch to turtle to avoid any counter damage. than back to bear to close the gap again/apply stun. rinse repeat.

the utility of the bear can be more useful than the damage of the second dps stance because you will always be able to rotate back to your main stance when you need it. 10% ain't no joke when we have a move stat of 475 meaning you get an additional 47.5

it can vary per situation though. for instance i would likely max the second dps stance before bear if i am going full split push udyr to give me better wave clear (phoenix) and better tower clear (tiger).

    hope that helps/answers your question.

I meant why people max Bear to 5 and leaves 1 of dps stance at 3.
