Sure that's fair, I can't argue with the frequency of disconnects decreasing a bit when you climb higher elo. Still happens though!
For me, the past three games i've won have been due to disconnects on the opponent's side

The idea of looking at the KDA is stupid as LoL is a teamgame.
People who promote this idea are most likely playing carry roles.
As I mained Jungle/Support throughout 2 seasons, where in S2 jungle was the 2nd support, my KDA was incredible low.
I was a self sacrificing support that would end up with almost no kills, alot of deaths and assists (same for jungle).
I can just agree with the suggestions in this thread: get better, climb elo, encounter less afk/dc.
But the amounf of little **** kids trolling will stay the same.

Actually, it was a reasoned probability based on the things you were complaining about. And since I was correct and you are a lower tier, you can hardly complain that I'm jumping to conclusions. I've been through Bronze and Silver, so I know all 99% of the **** they complain about and AFK/DCs are probably the number 2 behind flamers and ragers. So if you're complaining about DCs and AFKs, chances are that you're a low tier. Because I've rarely ever seen a high tier make a thread complaining about DCs and AFKs. Why? Because they are high tier and the occasional AFK/DC doesn't bother them to that extent. So what Azn said - get good and climb.
Everyone gets a ruined game every so often. That can't be helped. You can't just void every other frigging game, because that's what you're asking for. The system to monitor other people's connection problems is either too work-extensive to EVER be on Riot's priority list or it's actually non-existent.
I was in a soloque game and I had Reginald on our team back in season 3. We had a Fiddle jungle and he dc'd from minute one. Such a bummer that we lost in 20 minutes =(. By the same token I've won a few 4v5's. Just because someone dc's doesn't mean that your team is automatically going to lose. I've won a 4v5 where the ADC never connected. Just carry carry carry. All you can do is improve your own play.

Ok, what? how could personal kda possibly be an option for ranking when there are roles that require specifically avoiding getting kills, and you can still hugely benefit your team without taking kills or assists and win the game. And basing win or lose ratio contradicts heavily with your latter suggestion, because win or lose ratio is dependent on your team, and personal kda is, well... personal. It is clear that you only see this problem of yours from your viewpoint only.
Stop whining. Ive literally had TWO situations where the game has been laggy and it ended up in loss prevention because it was riots fault. And ive literally never lost a game due lag even though i have very slow internet. Ive had bad games because of lag but ive never lost BECAUSE of it. Its very obvious that you are living in denial and trying to blame lag for your own failures.
I had a ranked match recently where 9 of us were put out of action at the same time for the same duration. No loss forgiven. Pretty pissed because it was my final promo game and we were winning hard. Only person not DC'd was their Draven and he just won by himself.

in all honesty i was pissed when i made this match. it was after my second gaem in a row w/ a teammate dc'ing for a period of time. I do realize what you all are saying, it took me a minute to think about it and the circumstances it was under. It was all meant for a brainstorm, and guess this is the end result. guess its time to buckle down and climb!
