The annoyance lies in the fact that you could be fanboying over good stuff, but instead promote an utterly bland and uninspired series.[/quote]

Let me rephrase what I wrote: the annoyance lies with people calling mediocre or decent things great or amazing. There's no problem with being excited for something that isn't all that great as long as you don't make it out to be anything other than what it is. I know its harder for anime, but there are a lot of lesser known gems in manga. I could bring up a whole bunch that are good to great that I'm sure you've never even heard of. Speaking of excitement, SNK chapter 56 is out. Not gonna spoil anything, but PLOT-TWISTS :D People just can't seem to stop dying :D That's a series worth fanboying over, even if everyone and their mom know about it now after the anime (which is far worse than the manga).
