Well that was kinda mean... :( Is there any particular reason you've decided to throw out that sardonic jab for no apparent reason?
Made this sig myself :)

cause her name starts with G, ends with D, and has a 'mistress' in it.
anyways gratz
i myself do sometimes question why people who aren't -truly- celebrities on Mobafire are being interviewed though :P

Your guide is great and you deserve the recognition! It's mostly a matter of you being unheard of until the contest and what not. The term "celebrity" seems ill-fitting..? perhaps.
100% this.
Emikadon won a contest and has earned their reward, which they, in my opinion, already received but if people think their guide deserves to be in the spotlights one more time, that's fine, so be it. However I don't see how "MOBAFire Celebrity" is fitting and I needed to express my confusion. If the aforementioned MOBAFire member, oops sorry, celebrity, decides to take this personal, then that's their faulty interpretation and not my intention.

Emikadon has been a great contributor to the site, and won the most prestigious award of the only guide contest we've ever had. Being a "MOBAFire Celebrity" is not just about post / rep count. In my opinion if we just went in order of the users with the most rep / posts / who have been around the longest / you name it Celebrity Interviews would be quite boring. That's why we try to vary the reasons people are chosen for Celebrity Interviews.
Just FYI, to this date no one has recognized me outside of MOBAFire for being the Community Manager, but several have recognized me for my guides. Someone even recognized me last month for my Kog'maw guide which was archived over a year ago. Guides mean a lot to a lot of people.
TL;DR Ignore the jelly haterz Emikadon, you're awesome!

If in that case, I regret jumping to conclusions. I completely understand if you are confused (I myself am as well, since I know I am not very well known), but I still do not understand why you had to express said confusion in such a scathing manner. When Mowen approached me with an offer for an interview, I jumped at the chance to hopefully grow closer to the community by allowing my own personality to be known. I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone by taking the title, and if necessary, will ask for the interview to be deleted :)
Edit: @Mowen Oops, I must have still been typing when you posted yours... But it's fine if GMD would like to express her opinions as long as it isn't a personal attack :) It was my fault for misinterpreting it ^_^

Yes, yes it was. However do not despair, I'm a very reasonable individual and thus accept your, seemingly sincere, apology. I mean, after all, your guide seems to hold a lot of my coding.

Well on this matter, my opinion should be clear. Personally I think it'd be better to scrap it for now and re-do it once you're a little more well-known within the community and have become a real part of it. That way, it should feel more earned as well.

I, too, was slightly confused. I don't dislike you for it or anything, but it just does not seem appropriate for some reason. I mean, you've recently been quite a frequent poster, but it hardly means 'celebrity' status, at least, in my opinion, especially compared to the many other users who have been around since Season 2.
Emika won the award for the best overall guide for all categories. Emikadon's guide, -A Whimsical Wonderland Support- gained the respect of our judges for it's top notch build and writing.
Thanks for making such a great guide Emikadon, and congratulations! Now, onto the interview...
What prompted you to make your guide?
How did making a guide improve your League of Legends experience?
How did you feel when you found out your guide won the top prize of the S4 guide contest?
Do you have any advice for other guide writers?
What keeps you coming back to MOBAFire?
What are you looking forward to on MOBAFire?
Can you tell us about your journey with League of Legends? What was the experience like when you started, and what is it like now?
Why Lulu? What makes you feel attached to this character?
What’s a memorable moment you had playing League of Legends?
Instead of recalling to try and defend, I decided to go complete ham and ran to their base. Soon enough, though, the enemy team realized what I was trying to do and sent 2 people to try and stop me. But hey! Blinking over the nexus is pretty fun (and hilarious). Needless to say, we won >:)
When do you have the most fun playing League of Legends?
Do you have any goals for the new season?
What’s another game that you are very fond of, and why?
Who is your favorite superhero, and why?
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
Do you have any funny stories from when you were a child?
Unfortunately, my friend decided it would be funny if she suddenly shouted, “Hey look! I think he’s staring at you!” and pointed behind me. As an easily excited 12 year old, I needed to see if this was really true, so I spun around and tried to stand up at the same. The next thing I remember is the canoe flipping over and dunking both me and my friend into the water. The camp counselors were furious since they clearly told us not to try and stand up in the canoes and they made us write lines for the rest of that activity hour.
Thanks and congratulations Emikadon!
