I watched/read this stuff in the 5th grade, but I sort of drifted away from it. But I still own all 7 of my Shaman King books.
other than the big three (big 4 with fairy tail), there are some monthly i believe are must read:
(2 best ecchi/action you will ever find)
-rosario vampire
-sora no otoshimono (comedy)
-gantz (cant get more gory than this...)
-beelzebub
recently Psyren just finished so i am kinda sad
sites i use for manga: bleachexile.com , mangafox.com
anime: instanz, watchanimeon

I have a list of anime somewhere on my computer and I will eventually get around to it. Although to respond to hypershatter a little bit: I've heard a lot about Sora no Otoshimono. Mainly because of the flying panties ending (or was it opnening?). I've actually been pretty interested in it. Same with Queen's Blade and HotD
Anime I watch: Hellsing Ultimate
Anime I read: One piece, Naruto, Bleach, Shaman King, Fullmetal Alchmist, Sgt. Frog, and Zatch Bell.

In my eyes there is only justice

I'd get up to go to the bathroom and I'd be lost on the plot for the next month.

Someone hasn't read berserk :P
But when thinking about it, Gantz is pretty ******** gory too. They're pretty even in goriness.

Personally I still relentlessly keep up with the "big three" - Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece - although Naruto is really the only one that's stayed "good" over the years.
Aside from those, I read Bakuman, Toriko, and Claymore, and I've finished Death Note, DBZ, Eyeshield 21, and YuYu Hakusho.
