Alternatively, this would take longer, find someone desperate and rich on the internet and tell them you're really sick and need tons of mons to survive; have them wire you money then get the sex change.

I don't mean to question your brilliance, but wouldn't it be more effective if you'd just lie about the sex change and use the wired money to buy lotsa sweet sweet RP instead?
Not that a sex change wouldn't totally be worth it but I think you might get more out of it this way.
