went 4-0 against Irelia in lane within 10 minutes DESPITE being late to my lane cause of a client crash - missing the entire first wave, but vs a double exhaust, a legendary lucian and Lee Sin and Alistar's CC it wouldn't have mattered one bit how fed I was.
After getting my 4th kill on irelia and pushing all the way to their inner turret, I decided to start roaming to try and help my team who were 0-14 in their 4v4 but with an Alistar doing nothing but making sure I can't get in the fight there was simply nothing I could have done.
This was after a game where all our lanes won, got drawn out because of split push and despite being incredibly far ahead losing because of the most ridiculous backdooring/splitpushing I have ever witnessed.
I don't know what to do anymore. I can't believe/accept that my skill has gone down THIS much in only a couple of months but I guess since I'm consistently losing there's not much else that can be wrong. I have lost all my motivation and am probably giving up for the season, at least not going to do any more serious attempts to climb the ladder.
Loss streaks happen bro, and they can last a pretty long time. I doubt you've become much worse, but it takes time to climb. I suggest you treat ranked more casually and just play it for fun, instead of normals. Personally I almost never play normals on my own, I only play normals if I'm playing with friends or want to play a champ I'm bad at. Otherwise I just play ranked. That's why I ended up with 600+ ranked games last season, but I managed to climb 2 tiers that way.

this isn't just a losing streak, this has been a 3 month long slump I can't seem to get out of which leads me to believe I'm just not as good as I once was and honestly it's not really suprising considering I've been gaming so much for like 12 years now, I've probably just passed my 'prime'. It's a shame I couldn't get more out of it. But yeah, I'm just going to take it casually, screw around a bit and use the rest of my time to try and help others. I'm definitely not quitting or anything.

What I mean is you've only just hit 100 games. 3 months or not, 100 games isn't actually a lot compared to someone who plays a lot of solo queue, and it's entirely possible to get unlucky for 100 games. Well, not literally in every game, but unlucky that you can't seem to climb for a long time.
In my experience, you have to play these things out rather than wait them out. After placements I went on a loss streak and got demoted from gold 1 to gold 2, then repeatedly to gold 3, getting back up to gold 1 then repeatedly getting demoted to gold 2. This entire time I was struggling to remain even in w/l. After 210 games I finally managed to get back into plat, and even though I'd previously struggled to stay even in w/l, after that I easily got to +15 wins, or whatever it is I'm on, in basically 2 or 3 weeks or something.
You shouldn't give up on solo Q just yet, you honestly haven't tried too hard. There are times like right now where climbing will be a struggle, but so long as you keep playing it through, there's also gonna be times where climbing is a breeze. The key is to just play through whatever slump you're in. At least in my experience. Taking a break for a week / month never prevented my losing streaks, but spamming solo queue eventually did.

you don't have to tell me that lol... I've been playing for 4 seasons buddy. I'm talking all of my games in general. (I've also played much more ranked 5s than I have solo queue games and you also have to take both my accounts into... account)

you can slump at anytime... i had about 2500 soloq games alone heading into s4 and hit a massive 3-4 month slump at the start (including 0-10 placements when i ended s3 at D1 40 LP) where i couldnt even maintain d1 when it was easier this season, and then i just broke out of it and hit a peak of 76 lp d1. **** just happens sometimes.

Play when you're good, play when you're bad, play til you've lost every ounce of that bad, and then face ****ing wreck until every scrub under the sun is beneath your foot and you're standing on top of that mountain of bodies with your Jarvan Flag on top of the #2 (Former #1) in Challenger's body. That's the solo que grind at it's finest.
