Since the tribunal is down, Riot's basically going through reports and giving "over-reaction" punishment; if you've been reported x times over y games, you get a chat restriction, just in case. Of course they can't go through every report themselves and do the job of what the whole tribunal was doing, so they just have to give a small punishment to anyone who's behaviour hasn't been perfect.
When I logged on I got a message from the client and I was worried it would be a chat restriction, but it turned out to just be a ranked team LP decay notification lol.

^ I'm not saying there's no way the system has awarded restrictions to people that don't deserve it, but it might also be a little easy to assume it's all because of "troll reports". Just because your intention is to tell someone who's flaming to keep quiet doesn't mean anything you say is acceptable.

Anyway, riot should keep a list of banned/punished people so we can keep track of where justice prevailed and where **** prevailed, obliviously providing any kind of proof by people that are contesting. Because seriously, if i ever know that some kind of rager/flamer/toxic player/whatever that deserve a punishment that i have encountered is not punished, and i get punished cause reported by him/her, i seriously go to burn riot staff houses.
