I'd just like to add that the business model isn't as fair as I thought it was. While the weapon parts themselves are very fair in price, you don't get the upgrade for free and they cost a LOT.
I originally thought that the upgrades were unlocked by EXP alone, but you need to get a certain amount of EXP, then you can buy them, for a very high price.
The game also seems to have problems with its netcode (lag issues), so I'm probably gonna give up on it. I'd rather play Magicka or Dawngate.

"I sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being a helicopter is Impossible and I’m ****ing ******ed but I don’t care, I’m beautiful. I’m having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me “Apache†and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can’t accept me you’re a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding." - Guuse

Yeah, gaining exp to level up a part of the weapon takes simply too much ridicolous time.
That's not the main problem, the main problem is having to buy the upgrade after that.
It's also a problem that you have to grind the exp, because it inhibits variety in your weapon loadout. Which is kind of ironic considering the principles the game is built upon..
