  • Annie is one of the strongest champions in the game against Katarina. Like, really. A stun that is up pretty often, a click-to-point high damage Disintegrate, and dodging Incinerate and Tibbers is harder than you think. You have to predict your enemy very well, because it is instant and the only way of dodging is jumping before he has even placed it.. and if the enemy is smart he stops casting the spells as soon as you Shunpo out.
  • You are right in assuming that Brand is a pretty easy lane once you have dodged his skillshots and baited out his Sear, but before the lane is easy you have to achieve that. A smart Brand will save his Sear for when you jump on him, and if I'm not mistaken, the cooldown on his Pillar of Flame is lower than the one on Shunpo (not completely sure though, correct me if I'm wrong). He deserves a higher rating, I think.
  • I think Cassiopeia is one of that matchups where starting Boots of Speed is actually better than Doran's Shield. 4 potions will help you more against all her spells than Doran's Shield + 1 potion will, and the movement speed is nice for dodging her Noxious Blasts. The rating you give this matchup is fine I think, but I'd say is harder than just "incredibly easy".
  • Heimerdinger is really the most annoying champion in the entire laning phase and as Katarina you WILL cry against him. You can't destroy his turrets right off the bat, it requires a Bouncing Blades + Sinister Steel combo, together with either another Sinister Steel or auto-attack every turret once. During the time that you are doing this, Heimer, his turrets, and his minions have the freedom to attack you, making you lose a lot of health for just destroying his turrets. And by the time you have enough health to jump on him again, he already has three turrets again. If he is smart, he will save his grenade for when you jump on him, and then immediately stun you in which case you will take a lot of damage. The only thing you can do here is wait for Heimer to make a mistake or wait for the jungler to gank.
The best thing during the laning phase is just sitting under your turret while farming as many minions as possible.
  • However Leblanc can't silence you anymore, she still has insanely high damage early game and is a hard matchup for Katarina. You now just have some more room to retaliate or hit back.
  • Riven is the single best counter for Katarina in the game. High damage early game, even higher damage at level 6, mobility, two forms of hard crowd control.. If she's only a little smart you stand no chance against her. I'd actually give this a 10/10.
  • Ryze, on the other side, is easier than said. He has no way to stop your ultimate, is pretty mana hungry before and in the early stages of his tear, and your ultimate cuts his spell vamp in half. You have a pretty easy time farming against him and you can absolutely kill him at level 6.
  • Ziggs is also insanely annoying, as he can start throwing bombs right from level 1, and they hurt a lot. More often than not you will be forced to back before you are level 6.

And which champions do you mean? I don't really know these types of champions well because I don't match up with alot of them.

The guide looks fine and seems to be good, however I personally disagree on some parts. I'm gonna point them out. It is meant to be constructive criticism, and it might seem like a lot of points but it's most of the time preference. Please don't take it personally or think I find your guide.

Having said that:
  • Your cheat sheet looks fine, but maybe you can consider adding a little more purchases orders in between (like: what item from the full build must you get first after core, and which one then, so on). Also, I think you should change "Optional Items" to "Consumables" because optional is more like items that you can buy but not necessarily have to (other boots, defensive items, offensive items, for example)
  • I personally think you need something in your full build which gives you more defense than just some resistances, being either a Randuin's Omen, Banshee's Veil or a Guardian Angel.
  • I would take two points away from Sorcery and put them in Feast and Arcane Blade. Honestly, Feast is an underrated mastery and gives quite some sustain, which is really worth a LOT more than 1.25% cooldown reduction. Arcane Blade helps a little with last-hitting.
  • In your Pros & Cons you say Katarina has two AoE abilities, but she has three (Bouncing Blades, Sinister Steel and Death Lotus)
  • For your 21/0/9 masteries, I would put the point you put in Phasewalker in Scout. There's a little trick Katarina can do called wardjumping, and since Scout increases the range of trinket placement it essentially increases the range you can jump. I think that's more useful than a second reduced recall time.
  • Since, I believe, patch 4.8, Health Seals have become stronger than Armor Seals. They also helps against magic damage enemies and not only physical.
  • You did a good job on your matchup section, but I disagree with some of the ratings you give. A lot of champions are in my opinion actually a lot harder to beat than you think. If you want to know which ones I exactly mean, you can ask for it.
  • I think you should change the gameplay order a little, by putting teamfighting right before or right after teamwork. That's a more logical order.

Once again, this may seem like a lot of criticism, but it's mainly preference. All in all you've done a good job and I believe that if you better your English (if you want, I can help you to rewrite the guide with correct English. Still the same sentences, just grammatically correct), this guide has really good potential.

I finished the matchup for Katarina! It took me about a hour! :) I'm going to add which Summoner's Spell to take soon. But for now, i'm going to let my poor hands rest! *becomes unconscious*

No problem! Oh, and I think I only half explained Katarina using Cleanse. Let me formulate it better. Usually when you ult, people will try to stun you and stop you from ulting, since if kat gets crow controlled she is basically dead, Cleanse helps you avoid the stun and Shunpo away to an enemy/allied/minion/ward, you'll still lose your ult, but not die.
I just didn't want to see people complaining at your guide for something I said ^^.
