^ Argentina and Brazil haven't impressed at all so far, and Mexico? What? :P My money's still on Germany, anyway.
@ MyBloodisBlack Portugal could still recover, little early to say that after 1 game vs Germany in which they got a red card early on. England I thought were actually not bad, just made defensive mistakes that cost them, both games could just as well have ended in a draw.

I'm just into Mexico that's why I mentioned them :P
I wouldn't bet into Germany, yeah I'm German and I really enjoyed seeing them playing the first game but every tournament starts well for them (last World Cups both times 4:0, 2006 4:2, 2002 8:0) but in the end they struggle later on in the (semi-finals). But I still believe!

I think it's still a bit early to start calling favorites imo. Germany definitely looked impressive in their game vs Portugal but as Wayne mentioned, that red card didn't exactly help Portugal. I also think there's a lot of teams that still have to show their true worth and teams that are currently looking stronger than they actually are.
I think we'll get a much better idea of how teams stand after the group stages, when things get real.

It's always like this but people love early predictions. But looking at the following games in the k.o-phase which might happen you can predict which team will have advantages. I just remember Italy 2006 who just had to play against Australia and Ukraine before facing Germany ...

I still feel that USA is gonna get to semi's, I can see Portugal getting knocked out, especially with Pepe gone

World cup summary so far
England, Spain and Portugal all suck
Costa Rica big surprises
Holland favourites to win
Brazil will boycott final if they aren't in it
Holland is nor really the favourite. Germany, Argentinia, Mexico, Brazil and France are favourites too and the first two ones seems to have the highest chance.
