Then in 2009, as the stadiums started work the economy simply collapsed. I think the problem here was that they should have given up. The time left will be tight for other nations to prepare, but now Brazil is in deep trouble. You see, depositing billions into World Cup but not the basic infrastructure isn't, and shouldn't be the priority. The people should have done something years ago even though Brazil didn't. The Denver Olympics that never happened in 1976 was because people of Denver voted out of it; and it is shown that the choice to vote out of it saved the city from a economy crisis. No one could have forseen Brazil in such a state in 2007. Except that the problem now is seeded during its good years, when they put their windfall into consumption instead of investment. It is a mistake to host the World Cup in 2014 for Brazil. The World Cup is full of corruption and bribery, infrastructural insufficiencies, total and complete financial devastation for Brazil.[/quote]
