The Dark Brotherhood. They have the most interesting characters, story line and definitely quests in my opinion. I really like those assassinations with extra challenges.
The others rely more on dungeon crawling. I've had my fair share of dungeons already :P

pretty much everybody in the thief guild looks sympathic to me, i liked someone in the dark brotherhood too, tho the only one that
Warning spoiler

Dark Brotherhood was quite disappointing to me the first time I played it. It was like: Hey, you're new, how about you kill the emperor? And then the guild died for some dumb betrayal and then stays alive with some dumb quests. However, it is still the only guild that wants you to kill civilians, which by itself already makes it fun to do :p
The thieves guild was nice, but the ending was also weird. Instead of having a big heist as I would expect from the thieves guild, it was some weird daedra **** which imo felt a bit out of place.
I also thought that the bard college would be more than it is. They could've done something very interesting with it, but NOPE.
I think the mages guild is solid though, at least from the beginning through the end it stayed "magy" :3
