[/quote] The darker tone was set ever since [[Darius]]' release imo; the blood and [[Noxian Guillotine]] were clear signs of that. [[Draven]]'s [[Wicked Blades]] and [[Rengar]]'s [[Savagery]] continued down this same path. League has gotten more mature, not only because the engine can do more, but also because this kind of fantasy-style makes characters feel more real and allows for them to do more with the lore. No one cares for a bunch of cartoon characters, but a [[Graves]] who looks like that? Damn.[/quote]
