I realised it when one of them told me I was racist because I said that it's normal to eat meat (red meat, fish, birds) (I am an ovo vegetarian because I hate red meat). I worked with a guy who became a Vegitarian to satisfy his GF. He did start losing weight too but I'm sure it was 90% for his GF for whatever reason.
