doesn't really matter what you play as long as you communicate with your team and don't **** up big time yourself. basically tell them when and which objectives you should aim for taking, when to rotate, where to rotate and that kinda ****. of course seeing as how you have only 250 wins you can't possibly know all the right decisions at any given situation so mistakes will happen, but that will come with experience and that's how you learn and improve(if at all). can carry even from top lane cuz teleport is broken. and of course playing meta/broken champs always helps.

For Solo Q, one must always be able to carry THEMSELVES. As such, the solo lanes of top and mid become SOME OF THE BEST LANES to play Solo Q in. Jungle aint that easy because you somewhat rely on a team, and that is somewhat extinct is Solo Q
TYVM Ubby for this AMAZING Sig!

I'll weigh in too from a low Elo standpoint, I'm noticing that generally I do better in Jungle and Mid lanes.

I play some pretty heavy carry mid laners, Ziggs, Ryze, Katarina, Orianna, I've dabbled with Fizz as well, you get the picture. I play the heavy carries because I don't always trust bot lane to get the job done so if I pick a mild mid laner like Gragas for example, we can often end up on the short end of the stick. An added benefit of mid lane is that despite having several entry points to get ganked from, if you're warding properly, it's literally the safest lane to be in due to how short it is compared to top or bot.

For Jungle I've found that I prefer a tanky jungler and the reason for that is that tanky junglers always come with some manner of CC, for example I've taken a liking to Nautilus recently due to all the CC, you virtually guarantee a kill for your laner or yourself when you come to lane, Tanky junglers also often have the best clear times, especially with the Spirit of the Ancient Golem rework, massive sustainability, and they're exceptionally difficult to invade on because they withstand so much damage. My main issue jungling has been playing a jungler without much/any good CC, I played Lee Sin for quite some time and all he has is his slow, without laners that have CC, kills would frequently escape, sure you did a great job and pushed their laner out so it's a free farm fest, but that kill would have been far more beneficial. Udyr only has his bear spirit stun. An added bonus of a tanky jungler is that you don't have to worry about your top laner taking a tank, meaning that they're free to pick one of the heavy damage top laners like Irelia, Darius, Renekton, etc. Those laners put out a lot of damage and make for solid off tanks, meaning your frontline will be very strong and your carries often survive far better with that kind of front line. Renekton for example can even take your place as tank if you go down due to his ultimate. It also allows your bot lane to take a support such as Nami, which is very beneficial.

For top lane, which I play rather infrequently, I like to take one of the heavy zoning laners, I used Renekton and Darius quite a bit because of their ability to bully most other top laners right out of lane, this made their jungler focus me in top lane or let it turn into a feeding frenzy for myself and the jungler. Occasionally I'd even have mid come up and pick up the kill if I was far enough ahead. I also enjoy champions such as Vladimir, Gragas, Swain, Ryze, up top, Their zoning potential makes them a giant pain to deal with and since many top lane picks are melee, their ranged basic attacks give them a massive advantage over their opposing laner from the start. Plus they often have a nifty feature where they have a strong combo that can force a laner to back if you hit the whole thing, this excludes Vladimir of course. Gragas is particularly fun to bait them and Explosive Cask them under your turret, to follow up with your full combo, almost a guaranteed kill every time, and the stun forces them to take an extra tower hit or two, so if they somehow escape, they immediately have to back. Vladimir comes in on the fact that he has so much sustainability, and his ultimate can completely turn the tides in a teamfight if you land it on enough of their team.

I apologize for the length of this post and the rather text-wallish nature.
