I like guides which are non-meta. Zyra jungle is very fun to play, and also quitte good. This guide will people help a lot getting into jungle zyra.

Really like this guide.

After I get my jungle item and boots, I like to get a forbidden idol, so i dont have to worry about mana if I give my blue to the mid lane. This can be built into a morellonomicon after you have some core items

I also like to max my q first, since it will help my clear speed and overall damage output a lot.
This can just be a difference in playstyles, since I like to farm a lot, but since I have insane clear speeds with maxed q, I can gank more. The maxed e gives a longer root, for better ganks.
Let's at least both think about which is best to max first.^^

I feel zyra jungle is even better in the preseason 5: the jungle hit harder, but not faster. So it doesn't kill the plants faster, which is not a buff to zyra, but a "nerf" to all junglers who have to tank the creeps by themselves.

As s5 jungle route, I like: gromp(leach, and smite as it spawns) -> blue -> wolves -> red (smite, so get hp) -> krugs -> back

If you don't agree with this, it's just my playstyle, which isn't perfect since I'm not a very good player ;)

Nice guide! :) I do have a couple things to say though:

First off, turn on Comment to Vote. Contrary to popular belief, you actually don't chase away that many voters, because those who truly believe your guide is good will tell you so in a comment any way. On the other hand, there are those that will downvote without giving any feedback whatsoever, so turning C2V will protect you from that as well.

If you're jungling Zyra, I would recommend maxing Q first for the much faster camp clear. Taking additional points in Grasping Roots will certainly increase the stun duration for ganking, but it doesn't scale as well as Q and you'll only be ganking every couple minutes or so.

Enchanted Armor isn't good because you'll be building primarily damage. Since your only item that gives you any defense at all is Zhonya's Hourglass, that's 50 * 1.05 = 52.5 As you can see, that's only a mere 2.5 armor increase. Adding in your 9 armor from runes: 9 * 1.05 = 9.45 So in total, from this one mastery, you get almost 3 full armor xD Since you're jungling, I would take Tough Skin , but Recovery is also a good choice because Zyra has no built in sustain.

You could be a lot more in-depth. Almost all of your explanations are one line descriptions and don't tell much about Zyra at all. For example:

"Your ult Stranglethorns will always be 1st Priority"

Now let's make it super in depth and leave no room for argument:

"Taking points into Stranglethorns at levels 6, 11, and 16 will massively increase the damage it deals when you use it. This is because it increases by 85 base damage every time it is leveled. It also reduces the cooldown by 10 seconds with each subsequent rank, which can be extremely useful. Having it up more often will let you make more plays with it, as well as make your ganks more reliable."

Thanks for the tips, I definitely will be making it more in-depth soon when I get the chance to.

Would you recommend this character for a beginner jungler?
Does she have split push potential?

I would actually not recommend her to a beginner because she's not a "practical" jungler per say. She's awfully squishy and have a slightly different playstyle. As a beginner jungler you should start more on different characters such as, Nunu & Willump which is strong in counter-jungling, or Amumu which excels at ganks and teamfights, slowly moving up to characters like Zyra for fun.

She does have the ability to shove lanes easily with her plants but she has very low mobility and is susceptible to getting caught out/ missing teamfights.

Thanks for the reply, i'll test it out in game when I get the chance but I can see how it'd work, not sure how I missed that!
