^^ as the above has stated, but also if you're going for more damage I suggest taking a point in Double-Edged Sword instead of Expose Weakness since like Nidalee, Azir can do both forms of damage; Azir Raw AA is ranged, but his soldier AA is actually Melee, so you can actually get the 2% damage, and since you will either be top or mid you will benefit from this more individually, yet again if you want to be more of a team player than stick with Expose Weakness . If you don't believe my above statement, go try Bandit on utility tree for azir, and notice how it procs the +15 melee gold when soldiers kill with AA or if you kill with "Q", but if you melee with Azir Raw AA it actually procs the +3 ranged gold. Which will confirm my statement.

Yes you are right, the Soldiers attacks count as Spells, so Rylais would be better.

You know lich bane procs don't work for his soldier's attack, right?
