Yeah my playstyle has changes a bit since I last really updated the guide. I do upgrade Frostfang for 2 reasons.
Setting up combos becomes easier and it's not as punishing to miss your stuff.
On Vel'koz, I don't upgrade it anymore and sell it late game for either Rylai or Talisman.
I am going to update tomorrow after my exams.
I had the occasion to play her once yesterday, I put 2 points in Q and then maxed E since I was losing my lane and it went pretty fine. The root duration increase made more work than I thought it would.
Yeah it makes sense if you're losing your lane and want to "minimize losses" but that should not be your intention going into game :)
