Gnar: the ultimate comboist. His kit is nothing but mobility and constant burst damage once he hits Lv 6, and I loved the two test runs

Quick question, can Gnar Hop over his boomerang, either just after he threw it (before it has hit anything yet) or while it is on its way back, without catching it? or does he catch it even if he hop/crunches over it?

League of Legends does not take into account the vertical position of units and objects. If Tristana were to jump over a Veigar Event Horizon, she'd still get stunned. If Alistar would punch someone up and the guys feet are reaching the head of Alistar, he still can knocks them back as if they are on the ground. This means that Gnar can indeed catch boomerangs and rocks while mid-air.
