Why play leona when you can play bard, bard is happy leona is mad

Leona brings a little ray of sunshine to everyone's lives. Bard is an overweight street busker who can't get a real job in the music industry so has to perform every Friday night down the local Irish bar.

i hope you are happy I have now cried for secen minutes because of this heartless message, how do you sleep at night knowing that you insulted bard one of the creators of the rift, you disgust me and frankly I hope you stop consuming oxygen. From a friendly bardtard.

Put one of Bard's CD's on repeat, that'll be sure to cheer you up. Meanwhile I'll be sunbathing in Leona's glorious rays xD

Great guide, I can feel your hatred against kkkkk

Although this guide has an awesome content, many people will skip it since not everyone is willing to read plain text, to fix this you could add some images (or videos for your combos section) and icons (using [icon=XXXX size=XX] you can add embedded icons from database). Also, I'd not recommend using red text, it's for some reason really difficult to read on most devices (you could, instead of using simple red use bolded red).

Even tho, this is one of the best guide I've reviewed, keep working on it, I'm sure it'll become one of the top guides!

Thank you, I really appreciate your comments and always take onboard feedback like this I'll look to make these upgrades at some point in the near future! As for Morgana. yep she's a pain in the arse, all she does is block any plays you try to make leading to a very dull lane. Perman ban x)

What about Iceborn Gauntlet? For me Iceborn Gauntlet is the most important part of the Leona forumala, as it shuts down any escape short of a Flash.

I definitely think IBG is a valid choice, I just think there are better options out there for Leona. I've always tended to gravitate towards Randuins if I want to slow people. It can hit more people, has better stats and makes you inherently tanky. It comes into it's own during team fights, just Ult a group, E&Q then instantly Randuins them. If they don't die they have to burn summoners to escape.

is, in my opinion, one of the most powerful runes in the game at the moment. I use it on almost all of my fighters and tanks.
It virtually triples your Armor and Magic Resistance in the early game, then deals damage to anyone close to you.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Aftershock is one of the reasons it's so fun to play as heroes like and .

No I agree completely. Leona is all about the explosive damage and Aftershock is the key component in this which makes her so fun. As soon as you land an E on your opponent you can really feel the impact as you follow it up with your spell combination. This obviously fades late game where you become more of a shield for your team but in the laning phase she's a real beast who people have to respect.

I'm wondering, are you planning on adding a separate space for threats/synergies, item choices, ability skill order reasoning, combo's, warding or anything like that in the future? I'm curious as I'm trying to learn Leona and have found some good guides but would like to know as much as possible about the champion.

I'm just adding to the guide as and when I have time. I always appreciate feedback and I will use that to shape the guide in the future. There should be details for most champs in the synergies section of the guide now which you can read. The rest I'm working on so keep checking back in the future as I'll be sure to add to it.
