Before level 6
If there is no ultimate, there is no utility so we do not have good pre level 6. Depending on the matchup, I try or not to get level 2 for the All-In. After that I play safe up to level 6 always trying not to show me online (hiding in the bushes or playing with the fog of war).
After level 6
At level 6 I start to play more hidden than ever with the sole objective of putting a good ulti whenever I can. That's all.
