Great guide dude, although it would be better if you can explain it in more detail for summoner spells and masteries. Like the reasoning behind it in depth so that people can understand it better. Awesome guide again~

Not only very good guide, but also very short (that makes it very easy to follow). And extremly informative as for amount of text (I'm on of those who like to type much, and I perfectly know how it is when huge wall of text makes people not-wanting to read). I never upgrade it to but it's beneficial to spend only 1k gold for itself

Few tips:

Add Tear of the Goddess to items. It EXTREMLY helps manahungry supports like Sona for few reasons. Firsty it solves any mana problems and allows (or even demands) you to spam skills, so you don't have to think if to harras or sava mana for heal. Seconly it's extremly cheap as for things it gives (supports can't farm). And last one is that it provides nice mana regeneration, also very needed. There are not many good and cheap items useful for supports that fix your mana problems
Add my favorite support, Orianna, she's VERY good support as she has free short range wards, best supports' shield, lifesaving haste/slow and gamebreaking ultimate.
You didn't mention that it's way more beneficial for support to improve cooldown reduction rather than other stats, as supports' skills are usualy about utility, so AP won't help much (also you don't have money to build it) and items usualy good for support also provide CDR. Some beginner supports don't know that.
