Then you wanna work on the tiger stance, and if they try to get away go to bear stance again so that you may stun them. If you find yourself needing health go in to turtle stance. When an opponent is hit while in turtle stance your health will go up and you get a shield. That is where the life steal really comes in handy, because your health will go up way higher.
