No I played AD tf b4, got tons of kills and only one deaths. I'm not saying AP is bad btu AD is totally viable with the correct build.
Oh and I would say get 2 phantom dancers.
I would get boots first, armor pen bow thingy, vampires scepter, phantom dancer, depending on the cash I would either build zeal or get BF sword to build it onto the blood thirster. I wouldn't get trinity force. If you want AD TF, build full AD and AS. Your trinity force would only get your ap low enough, it's pretty much useless, not much of health, not much of ad. Really it's not a good choice IMO.
If you want AD TF, build it completely AD. Nuff said'

if i were you (and i always play TF AD) i start with 2 doran's, 1 vamp sceptre.

u dont need the full trinity force, just grab sheen and leave it till your 6th item.

swap last whisper for black cleaver as well as you're an attack speed carry rather than say riven, gp, talon who rely on their abilities rather than high auto attack speed.

finally try swapping out the armor penetration runes for flat attack damage for lifesteal. you WILL notice the difference :)

Alright I'll give you a +1 to get this build on the right track, but here are some recommendations: (A) What makes TF a very good AD Ranged is his Stacked Deck ability which, would be helped if you built attack speed a bit earlier. (B) I recommend taking a look at the top of the page, clicking on the Guides & Strategy Tab, and then go to Getting Started Guide. It will teach you the proper formatting, and BB Coding for making a guide. Hope I helped, and have a tremendous day!
