Thanks! And yes; actually, I've had a lot more luck with AD than AP, mostly because it's not something people predict. Gaining both parts of her passive at lvl 1 is a big deal either way; but given her high basic attack speed, this works very well. It's best to play AD Akali with a taunt team; , , etc - or a fear team with , or . She's squishy, no matter how you build her, so having disrupt on the team makes her AD side that much more effective.

Wow! great guide. I thought I was the only one who wanted to do an AD Akali. I just couldn't believe the huge number of guides that pretty much ignore the AD side of her passive will making the AP side huge with some guides having just over 500 AP. Where for AD they only get like 40 - 50 extra AD from runes and Hextech Gunblade. I always feel like they don't really use her passive to the full potential. Plus I think it would be fun seeing how high you can get her spell vamp through her passive.
