New meta noe requires beefyness not saying u cant buy you can and its your choice to purchase your final item. If you are okay with less health and certain you can survive go ahead with liandrys but if you are facing burst I would recommend rylais instead
New meta = mobility. That is why champions like ahri, kassadin and fizz are the most banned mid champions at this moment.
