Shaco is a stealth assassin and extremely fun to play with.although most of shaco players build him attack damage,speed and lifesteal, lately I begun to play shaco as ap and had some good scores with the build that I'll show u next.

Deceive:use it cautiously while u have low mana capacity and it costs a lot.use it as an escape mechanism* and chase also.

*when running away with low life aim the exact different direction from which u are running away from so that u trick them.cAuse remember u are the demon jester

Jack in the box: jacks are shacos' best friends use them defensively as u run away so that u fear chaser but mostly use them for ambushes.

*if u play pro-like shaco try placing jitb one over the other so all jacks will aim same target when firing.later on I'll tell where to place them.

two shiv-poison:that's a great chasing/slowing/last hitting ability(that's all)

Hallucinate(ultimate):this ability is your reputation
U can scout u can "kamikaze" people,trick people and "ulties"*

*u can counter ignite,exhaust,ashes's arrow,kartus's lase and etc

The tricky part with shaco is to make your enemies comet bushes or wherever your jacks are.to achieve that u need experience.u will have to dmg yourself intentionally in order to attract your enemies

I like to begin with an amplifying tome and a up potion for survivability in my lane till reach enough money to buy boots of ludicity.

I choose this boots because of the cooldown(15%)
Next item is friendish codex. With this item your mana issues are over and have 10% cooldown also(15+10=25%)Later buy narshors touth and also have 40% cooldown.that means jitb every 9sec
Now do the math:90 sec(maximum time of life of jacks):9(cooldown of jacks)give u 10 jacks

Each jack fires for 5sec about 8 bullets each one dealing 115
So
8 times 115 is 920
920 times 10 is 9200dmg+ap
Now lts let's say some of the bullets miss+armor+magic.resist+end of the fear duration
About 3600 dmg(if placed correctly)enough to kill any1

Early game:
while your first ability is jitb u have no escape mechanism no boots no nothing.for that reason u must be very careful and conscious About your actions.if u have no ranged champ in your lane try not to overextend.finally place all your jitb in one place so that ur chances of killing s1 will be maximum

Mid game:
This is when your enemies will fear you when they see you in your minimap,and they will start to plan 5v1 gangs try to Chang lanes as I said before so that they will have a hard time to focus you.

-try play with shaco in 5v5 while he dominates in late and early game if played correctly
