Dr. Mundo

Pros:
- A great tank
- Ultimate makes it so you never have to leave a lane unless shopping
- Cleavers break other tanks
- Great harassment with cleavers

Cons:
- Honestly cannot do much other than tank
- No crowd control
- Low DPS (cleavers do damage based on enemy health)

Mundo is a straight tank Champion who can do little else. This build is a straight tank build, unlike my Nasus build. With Mundo being only that, a tank, this build seems only natural. Rate and comment, s'il vous plait!

For Summoner Spells, I have chosen Cleanse and Ghost. Cleanse will remove crowd control effects on yourself, and Ghost will make you run faster as well as ignore unit collision. These are key spells in keeping Mundo alive. He's hard to kill already, but with these spells, he's immortal if played right.

I have spec'd Mundo in a 0/21/9 fashion. Only 21 points are needed in Defense as I find dodge and Ardor ar not neccessary for Mundo. The nine points in Utility are to help Mundo with EXP, gold, time spent dead, and to buff his Ghost. These come in handy as I like to solo top lane with Mundo. Soloing with him can be hard during the beginning of the game, having no real DPS, but doing this will allow him to level faster and complete his build faster.

For Mundo's skills, max out Infected Cleaver as fast as you can in order to harass with the powers of a mad god. Get Masochism before Burning Agony, as Burning Agony, I find, is only useful for farming minions while no other enemy Champions are there or in a team fight. But even then, you have to watch your health more, making it a double-edged sword IMO. Get Sadism every chance you get and be sure to use it whenever you're around half health. You will not waste it as it has a low cooldown, and with some of the items in this build, it will be even shorter, and heal for more.

For his rune build, I have gone with nine Greater Seals of Defense to boost his armor, nine Greater Glyphs of Shielding to boost his Magic Resistance, nine Greater Marks of Vitality to boost his Health, one Greater Quintessence of Shielding to further boost his Magic Resistance as it is rather low with this build, and two Greater Quintessences of Vitality to further boost his health.

First off, buy a Ruby Crystal and a Health Potion. Mundo's skills cost health and these will help in the beginning. Build the Ruby Crystal into a Kindlegem when you can, and finish the Spirit Visage. This will help boost Sadism when you get it and lower it's cooldown. If you have enough gold, jump right to the Boots of Swiftness as Mundo is slow and needs these. Next, buy a Giant's Belt and start building Warmog's Armor. After you have finished that, build an Aegis of the Legion for the boost and the armor aura. Next, start building Randuin's Omen for the myriad of stats it boosts. Finally, build Thornmail for the armor and damage return. Note: Thornmail can be replaced with either a Banshee's Veil or Force of Nature if you're up against an Ability Power team.
