Welcome to my Elise guide!

Elise is an AP Carry which can go mid/jungle(/top).
This guide will help you to play Elise, The SpiderQueen.
She is an burst mage who first lowers enemies in her human form and then finishes them off in her spiderform.
I play her mostly as a jungler/mid champion but solotop may be an option.

I am open to any good criticism.

Pros:

[*] Tankier in SpiderForm
[*] No manacost in SpiderForm
[*] Fun


Cons:

[*] Long CD
[*] Takes some practice

I mostly go for the standard 21/0/9 build.
You could take Meditation instead of Swiftness if you really have manaproblems, but i prefer Swiftness.

The reason why i prefer her Q over her Z is because her Z can be blocked by a lot of things while her Q can't.
The Q does decent damage certainly if the enemy stil has a lot of HP as it does 8%(+2% per 100ap) damage of their current health.
In spider form it's 8%(+2% per 100ap) of their missing health.

While the enemy has a lot of hp:

1)HumanForm
1. Stun with E
2. Launch Z (while enemy is stunned)
3. Use A (while enemy is stunned)

If the enemy dropped below half hp then:

2)SpiderForm
1. Q if in range if not E
2. Use Q
3. Use Z

Switch to HumanForm if all your abilities are on CD and do 1), if all is on CD then just keep using Q in SpiderForm.

Later in game or if you always get blue buff, you can choose for Sorcerer' Shoes instead of Ionian Boots.

Obvious for magic pen, so extra damage.

Mana regen so you don't get oom early.

Extra MagicResist for mid lane.

Extra AP is always good.
