Hello there! This is my first guide and I decided to make it for my favorite fish, Fizz! There's no need for you to read much of the guide since the build should suffice for your enjoyment of Fizz, The Tidal Trickster. If you don't know much about Fizz, he is a melee mage with high burst at level 6 with his shark.

Farming is a bit tough since Fizz is melee, so you'll have to farm at your tower until you'll be able to harass with your Q+W and escape enemy harass by E'ing away. The only champion that can zone Fizz is Ryze since he has an instant snare which is practically impossible to time an E to avoid it unless you can get lucky with it.

The items should definitely go boots first so you'll be able to dodge enemy spells easier and the health pots help with a bit of sustain if harassed. Grabbing cool down reduction boots will help you harass much more and the catalyst will help with sustain. By grabbing sheen, it will help with damage output since it procs and damages with your Q (Urchin Strike). Buying Rod of Ages is obviously in the build if catalyst is, a Banshee's Veil is not necessary on Fizz whatsoever. You should be able to afford Rod of Ages by 20 minutes if you gank other lanes or kill the enemy mid, about 3 to 5 kills should be enough depending upon your minion kills. Rabadon's Death Cap is a great item on any AP champ, but for Fizz since his AP ratios are low for his normal skills other than his ult ratio, which is 1:1 and his Playful/Trickster which has a quite a decent ap ratio so it'll add a very large amount of burst if you can land your ult.

The runes are basically just some generic ap carry runes, so there is not much uniqueness in them whatsoever.
