Introdudtion
Vi is a champion that can fit within almost any team, so she is great for first pick jungle in solo queue, for example. She is mainly played in the jungle, due to her amazing ganking potential with her Q, but she can also played in the top lane. This guide, however, will cover playing Vi in the jungle.
On the blue side, you will want to start with the Krugs, and on the red side, the gromp, since bot will give you the best leash. After your first camp, go to wolves, then red, smiting red for the health back, and using the health potions during red will leave you with almost full health and level 3, which is a great time for ganking if any enemy laner is significantly pushed up in lane. Vi can take drag alone at level 5 without health potions, but it is recommended you bring a few. As a jungler, prioritize dragons over farming, but prioritize towers and the lives of your teammates above that.
Pre-6, your combo to gank will normally be Q > E > AA > E > AA, sometimes, this is enough damage to kill the target yourself, when ganking mid, this will usually get the lane a kill, assuming the laner has enough damage and is running ignite. Remember, if needed, you can flash during the charging of Q if covering the distance that fast is necessary, or the laner is someone who can dodge with an ability, like a Fizz or Zed.
Post-6, you will normally be ganking with the same combo, but adding Assault and Battery to the end of it to add quite a bit of extra damage after that. So, Q > E > AA > E > AA > R > AA > AA.

As Vi, your main role as a teamfight is blowing up the enemy carries and helping your team initiate. You will either want to come around the back and perform the normal combo used for ganking on a carry, or assault and battery to the back line, auto attack and smite them to death, then Q back out, which should be done safely with one necessary defensive item you've picked up, or even just your boots.
