Spells:

LoL Summoner Spell: Ghost

Ghost

LoL Summoner Spell: Ignite

Ignite

Intro

With the Yorick Patch Gangplank was overly buffed. His new passive makes attack speed very good along with crit. Over all he is a slow down master (parrrley, auto attack, and ult all slow) while being able to speed himself and his team up at the same time (raise morale).

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-burst damage with crit
-great slows
-team utility with raise morale
-ult can be placed anywhere
-can get out of any cc while healing himself

Cons:
-low mana early game
-cool down dependent
-must be in melee range to use passive most effectively

Abbreviations

HP - health pot
MP - mana pot
BGs - Brawler's Gloves
RM - Raise Morale
RS - Remove Scurvy
AS - Attack Speed
GP - Gangplank

Summoner Spells

Ghost: great for chasing or running away
-Flash: good escape but I feel like Ghost is better on GP
Ignite: good for shutting down heals and making sure you get your kill
-Exhaust: can be good depending on the other team's comp

Items

-Brawler's Gloves 1HP, 1 MP to start with
-Avarice Blade from original BGs
-Zeal for added crit and AS
-Beserker's Greaves for more AS (Boots are a game to game item that should be picked based on your situation)
-Infinity Edge for damage, crit, and increased crit damage (perfect item for Gangplank)
-Phantom Dancer from your first Zeal
-Trinity Force: Passive from Sheen, Health from Phage, and Crit/AS from Zeal all in all a very good item
-Black Cleaver for more AS and damage (also good against armor stackers)
-Frozen Mallet: sell your first avarice blade if you get this far and get frozen mallet for extra slows, health, and damage!
-Elixirs!

Runes

Runes might not be optimal but they seem to work for me.

Marks: Armor Pen (want to try Crit and Crit damage runes out here just don't own them :X)

Seals: Attack Speed (attack speed is good for Gangplank's passive, their might be a better choice though)

Glyphs: CDR per level (helps you use your moves more, but again their might be a better choice)

Quints: Health is always good, but once again their might be a better choice
