You want to pick up ruthless pretator to try to get a easy kill near the beggining of the game. Pick up a dorans shield for the extra health and defense. This will greatly increase your survivability. Try to engage after your lanemate in order to try to catch an opponent off guard. After this happens if the opponent manages to escape exhast him/her and pick up the kill with another stun. Keep working up for a phage to get a few extra stats.

After you gain the phage is when the fun really begins. This is when you can start dealing the real damage and start pushing your opponents back from your lane. Try to go for guerrilla style attacks (attack and run) use slice and dice to get into your opponents face and get them to back off a little. After a few more kills or minion wave slaughters try to focus on defense asess the enemy team and figure out what you want to go for my build is to counter fast hitters and physical attacks.But expiriment and figure out whats best for you.

By this time you will most likely be the most hardy player on your team being able to take massive amounts of damage while you have your ultimate up. The up side is that you will also be able to deal damage too letting you pick up many kills near the end of the game. Try to initiate most fights with slice and dice + cull the meek.
